Ms. Hema A is Head of the Department of EEE. Her academic interests include Power Systems, Electric Vehicles, Embedded Systems, Microcontrollers, Operating Systems, Computer concepts in C & C++ Programming. 

She holds a B.E. degree in EEE from Bangalore University and an M.Tech degree in Electronics from the Visvesvaraya Technological University. She also holds the certificate from CDAC for Diploma in Advanced Computing. She has participated in various workshops and faculty development programs held by various institutions. 

She has around 20 years of teaching experience and is associated with Cambridge Institute of Technology from 2009.

She has guided many B.E. students in their seminars and project dissertations.

She has taken various responsibilities in the department and the institution level as NBA and NAAC Coordinator, Counselling Coordinator, Member of the Internal Audit Committee Member, and also has handled various administrative responsibilities at the institutions. 

She is associated withNGO called Scribe Requirement – involved as scribe for disabled, blood donation camps and Sanathanam Trust for Disabled – involved in teaching computer basics to the children during weekends and camps organized.
