Bio

Dr. Shashikumar D R received the Bachelor of Engineering degree from Mysore University , Master of Engineering degree from Bangalore University, Bangalore and Ph.D. in Computer Science Engineering and Information Technology from Fakir Mohan State University, Balasore, Orissa. He has conducted various workshops on embedded systems and Digital Image Processing. He has participated in various conferences and Workshops conducted by different Organizations. He has worked as Co-Convener in various National /International Conferences. He is the reviewer for renowned peer reviewed Journals. He has worked as BOS, BOE member in academic bodies of Visvesvaraya Technological University, Belagavi.
Since 1985 he is working as faculty in vthe Technological institutes such as Siddhartha Institute of Technology, Tumkur, Reva Institute of Technology and Management, Bangalore. Currently he is working as Professor and HOD of Computer Science and Engineering in Cambridge Institute of Technology, Bangalore. He has Conducted various Seminars and Workshops for students in the cutting-edge technology to enhance their knowledge. He has Published more than 50 Journals and Conference papers in various peer reviewed and Scopus indexed Journals.
He has guided various B.E. and M.Tech student projects in the areas of Computer Networks, Digital Image Processing, Internet of things, Network security and Block chain Technology. Five candidates have completed their Ph.D. in Visvesvaraya Technological University, Belagavi under his Supervision. Five more Research Scholars are currently being guided for Ph.D. in Visvesvaraya Technological University.

  • Achieved 95% results in all subjects handled in every semester.
    Conducted various Seminars and workshops for students in the cutting-edge technology to enhance their knowledge.
  • Worked as Coordinator for NBA and NAAC since 2010.
  • Conducted “Seventh ISTE State Level Student Annual Convention” titled “Technology for Modern World” on 11th March 2011 at Cambridge Institute of Technology, Bangalore as organizing secretary.
  • Conducted the AICTE/ISTE sponsored STTP on “VLSI DESIGN FLOW: AN INDUSTRIAL PRACTICE USING THE STANDARD TOOL” between June 23 – June 30, 2008 at REVA Institute of Technology, Bangalore.
