Bio

Mrs. Vasantha M Assistant Professor in the Department of Computer Science & Engineering.  She has a diverse knowledge in both Electronics and Computer Science subjects, she is interested in Research, Software and Hardware programming. Creation of new ideas and guiding students in latest technologies, enhances her teaching in a creative way. She has also guided B.E and M.Tech students in their seminars and project dissertation. She has in-depth knowledge in the discipline of Software Programming such as C, C++, Java, Python and Hardware programming such as Microprocessors, Microcontrollers, Embedded Systems and VLSI Design.

She Handled subjects such as Analog & Digital Electronics, Microprocessors, Microcontrollers, Computer Organization, Advanced Computer Architecture, VLSI design, Big Data Analytics, Data Science, Machine learning with Tableau reporting tools. 

She has undertaken various responsibilities for the smooth conduction of department and college level activities. 

She holds a B.E. degree in Electronics and Communications from B.M.S.College of Engineering, VTU and M.Tech degree in Computer Science & Engineering from B.M.S.C.E, VTU. Currently pursuing Ph.D. under Visvesvaraya Technological University.

She started her Career as a Software Engineer and has 5 years of IT experience worked with Vibrant Technologies as a Mobile application developer which develops games and applications for clients such as Disney. 

After 5 years in IT took up Masters in Computer Science to follow her passion for Teaching and Research. She has 8 years of experience in teaching and worked in CMRIT and New Horizon College of Engineering.

Associated with Cambridge Institute of Technology from 2021.
