Bio

Dr. Hemakumar K H, is working as Associate Professor & Head in the Department of Chemistry at Cambridge Institute of Technology. He holds  master’s degree, education degree and a Ph.D in Chemistry from the University of Mysore in the year 2008. His area of research includes synthesis of heterocyclic molecules of medicinal importance, their anti-cancer activity efficacy studies, chemistry of natural products and environmental chemistry. He has published 10 papers in International/National journals and presented 3 papers in International and National conferences/seminars. Currently he is guiding  a Ph.D student under VTU, Belagaavi.

 

 He holds a B.Sc. degree in PCM, B.Ed degree and  M.Sc  degree in Chemistry from University of Mysore and obtained Ph.D degree in organic chemistry from the University of Mysore in 2008. He has participated in various workshops and faculty development  programs held by various colleges.

He has around 17 years of teaching experience and is associated with Cambridge Institute of Technology from 2012.
